Trouble with video driver install for 9750

I just received my 9750 today.

I installed the drivers that came with the system (Version 7.9.31) with out incident.

I then went to nividia.com to update the drivers and downloaded 81.85 forceware for mobile computers. I uninstalled the current drivers and ran the install program. The setup program errored out with the following message.

The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit.

I then downloaded the 81.87 drivers and received the same error message when I ran the install.

please help.

Did you try uninstalling the previous version first?

you need to copy the .inf (from laptopvideotogo) into the same directory as setup.exe and then re-run. that will work...

1. Go to http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/...p?showforum=61, download the v82.12 32 bit driver and the performance INF (click on the "Download Performance INF").
2. You may need to download the "7-Zip" utility to ensure you can uncompress the downloaded driver file.
3. Double click to run the 82.12 driver executable file. This will "unzip" the files and executeables. Note the directory.
4. Find THAT directory, copy and paste the downloaded INF file into this same directory.
5. Run the setup.exe

Thats it. How easy is that ?

When I click to download the performance INF, it just opens a new page with text in it. Do I copy the text into the directory or should it be a file that gets downloaded?

Right mouse and choose "Save link as" (Firefox), IE has an equivalent.
