There's a thread mentioning a 19" notebook around here somewhere. Think andrepeterhill posted it. Looks like the 5720 chassis.

Keep in mind that Sager does not produce the notebooks - they rebadge Clevo's - they are an ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) out of Taiwan. You can check their website, www.clevo.com.tw. When they come out with a new notebook that features the Core Duo processor, then Sager might consider rebadging it. That's about all I can tell you for now. . .

Eurocom helps Clevo do R&D, so you might want to snoop around their site, too.

I dream of a Sager 9751 / Clevo D901K with an Low-Powered Dual Core Opteron, and 4 SODIMM slots for 4GB of RAM. Maybe an integrated Creative Audigy 2 ZS directly on the pci bus inside the laptop (leaving the pcmcia slot free). And another addition would be an 2nd integrated SATA controller with two eSATA/xSATA connectors :-) But it's just a dream...

Still,

-with support for Windows XP (even Home) prolonged to 2008
-tests showing that Duo isn't much faster yet
-MXM to stretch gaming lifetime

I will wait till Windows Vista is bug free and only then buy a new system.

p.s.
Also see this article that shows that when using a 7800 GT GPU the differences in games
between an Athlon64 3200+ and FX-57 (or Pentuim 4 +2.8GHz and EE) are only a few percents.
The GPU is the limitation and the difference between 1 and 2 Gig are also minor.
