Well - He's been home for just over a week and is still doing well. We saw the pediatrician yesterday and he's definitely eating well - gaining roughly an ounce a day since he left the hospital. Also he is looking healthy and has not had any alarms on his apnia monitor so we are thankful. We will see the nuerologist early next week, but my understanding is that we just need to monitor his progress as he learns to hold his head up - which he is doing - rolling around and then learning to crawl, talk etc...
He also has this wicked double handed chop he does when he's really hungry and we try to give him his bottle. It's quite a challenge to get past it. I think he's practicing to keep his big brother at bay when he's older.
Luckily for us he is doing well at nights. He eats around 7pm, Midnight, and 4 am so we actually get some sleep. His crabby time seems to be in the mornings as he likes to stay up for about 2 hours before being so tired he cries himself to sleep. I'm back at work now so my wife has to deal with it. I feel bad that she has to deal with it, but she definitely handles better than I do.
Again I can't thank you all enough for your support through this. All those thoughts and prayers have made a huge difference for us.
