How do you download a file if you only have the url to copy and paste?

I have a url to a .wav file, but when I paste it into my address bar, Quicktime automatically plays it. On my old computer it would ask if I want to save the file or whatever, but I can't figure out how to make my new one do that. Anyone know?

2 options:

you can do this in firefox, it will ask you to d/l or save

you can get a d/l manager and put the URL in there.
