Averatec 1000 series - More RAM, Possible? DVD-Burner, Possible?

Greetings!

I've got a couple questions. The warrenty on my 1050 is about to expire, like in the next week or so... so I was looking at upping the power and usability of the system. I was wondering if anyone knows:

Is it possible to add RAM to the system? It already has 512MB, but does anyone know if I can add another stick (probably not, since I imagine it only has one slot) or replace the 512 with a 1GB stick (more likely, but also possibly not, due to Motherboard limitations?) Does anyone know anything about this? I'm really interersted in upping it, but I don't want to waste my time if its not possible.

Also, I was thinking a DVD burner would be really nice. Is it possible to replace the internal DVD-CDRW with a DVD-Burner? I was looking at the Pioneer Slim Drive (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16827129170), but really, I think any slim drive is the same size, so yeah... would that fit? Also, would there be an issue with Power.. Clearly I would not be burning much with battery power, but does the PowerSupply of the 1050 have the juice to fuel the drive. I think it would, because that drive uses something like 5 watts, but I figure its much safer to ask than to assume.

Well, any advice would be GREAT. Thanks~

yes, you can replace/upgrade the memory. If you can find a dvd-burner that fits (like the one in the 2100 perhaps), then you can replace it too.
