Sorry, I did not mean that I would immediately rip apart my laptop to form a new one to my liking. I know that is not very feasable. I am just thinking that in the long run, an AMD 64 DTR proc. and a 256MB graphics card would be a fine upgrade for an old Ferrari 3200.
And ah yes, the waiting game. I have actually considered buying a nice gaming/multimedia laptop for quite some months now and the closest I ever came was a Eurocom model, which in the end was a bit too pricey and too big for my liking. This laptop, however, is practically perfect. A 64-bit proc. and a graphics card that can reach the 4-thousand marks in 3DMark'03 make for a perfect combination! And all for only 3-thousand Canadian! I believe the thin+light form factor is a great added bonus, aswell as the Ferrari design (and the IEEE and etc.). I can't wait to read some initial impressions and reviews about this laptop. Shame the 3000 got such bad reviews on American sites when its loved in all of Europe and Asia.
