I was reading where the Toshiba has three batteries to choose from:
4 cell, 6 cell and an 8 cell battery.
Is there more info on these batteries that will fit A75 series notebooks?

I have the DC 14.8V - 6450mAh
Model NO: PA3383U-1BRS

What cell is that as it didn't say on the back?

YEOW! That's expensive! That is the same battery I'm running now. I guess I'll wait awhile to get another battery then.

When they say "normal" mode, is that with everything going full bore on the notebook, (screen brightness, CPU ramping etc)? Or is it set for conserving the battery?

Okay, then that is good for around 2 hours. So with the notebook set for battery, (ramped down cpu/screen brightness set 1/2 etc) it should go for 3 hours maybe? Mine has gone for over 2 hours but I never ran it dry...

on my m-45, I can get around 5 hours if I turn the screen down, don't use wireless, PowerMizer is set to battery, cup voltage down and fan to battery save.
Everything up I usually get around 3.5 total hours of batery life.
Yes, this is with the 12 cell.
