3D Mark 2K6 - Page 7

Glitch...

Well, I restarted my computer, and this time it indicated I was running on A/C. Not sure what caused PowerMizer to stick on Battery, but I re-ran 3DMark06, and got 3767. Now THAT is more like it... Guess there was some sorta glitch going on with the PowerMizer before I restarted, and it fixed itself. ::: shrug :::

What I find odd, is my CPU score was actually LOWER after I restarted... Go figure...

FYI, the first pic with the 19k is fake, just look at the 3dmark number, it says 006. i know its pretty obvious that its fake already, but...

For me, if I don't have the nvsvc32.exe service running in the background, it doesn't recognize when I switch from AC to batt or vice versa. Whatever I booted up with, that's what it stayed at. Did you boot up on battery when the screenshot you posted was taken? I know you were running on AC at one point there, but how did you boot up when it stuck on battery? Then, when you rebooted, you were plugged in, right? Try going into Services and enabling the nVidia driver helper service. As soon as I did, it immediately began recognizing when I switched from AC to battery.

Plug it to your tv and set the tv as the primary monitor. Or set the power settings to do nothing when you close your screen and then close your screen while you are connected to tv.

hey i just ran it and scored 4138

it seems as if nvidia has invested money into futuremark, why? because now its a manditory that you have 3.0 shader, for those who do not, simply you score VERY low.

i scored 1687, desktop 3.2ghz, x800xt pe (its my first ati card, i have to say that i like ati hardware but nvidia's software is worlds better)

Yeah!! Ba$tard$!! I got it up to 1860. I was like kicking the normal 6800 go's a$$es two days ago. What has changed since yesterday? Did my card suddently got slower cause it doesn't have SM3? No. I am still kicking 6800 go's a$$es no matter what this stupid test says!
What they should have done about the resolution problem is make it run at the computers native resolution. Cause nowadays most people have lcds. And since lcds look crap at non native resolution it would be best if we all did the test at our computer's native resolution.

1695, no overclocking.
Just ran a test and got a 3435 on my XPS M170 (7800GTX, 7200rpm, 1gb ram) bone stock as I received it yesterday.

Updated to XTreme-G MobileForce 81.98-v2.25a an hour ago and ran 3449.

Is that what would be expected after installing new drivers or did I mess up on something?
Im not about to OC anything as of yet.
Drublic, that sounds about right. @ stock 7800 speeds, I got 3451. When OC'd to 430/1200 (desktop 7800GTX speeds), I got 3723. So if you haven't OC'd, I'd say you're in the ballpark.

All joking aside, although this low score seems like a joke.
This is what I got, auto overclock with dell 78.51 drivers, killed all but the neccesary background services.

Interesting.

yeah most of us are getting somewhere between 0.25 and 0.5 fps for the cpu tests. strange.
probably...the lowest 3dmark score u will see

completely dell default clocks. No overclocking. temp riht after was 37 CPU, 48 GPU and RAM.

lol...funny. ..

heck...even my dell OS is factory default and apparently 70 processes were running in background along with bitcomet.

BEAT that..u 7800 owners
