Your not kidding LoL Compare Brass's 440/1250 to my 440/1200 we both have the same GPU and CPU but some how the memory didn't really make a difference.

Basso you really need to get that 7800 man

and Simply, you probably should resize that test res.

Who else has the Professional Version for 3Dmark 06 ?

BTW the new game that comes with 3dmark 06 was kind of interesting except that it kills my computer faster then FEAR when I look up

Oh yeah, right now the only use the pro version has is really for new backgrounds Gotta love those 1920x1200 hdr shots

Ithink most of the 4k + scores with the 7800GTX onthe XPS chassis are achieved because of the lower resolution by the screens equiped on those particular models. says your demo ran at 1280x854--> my demo mark 06 runs at 1280x1024 and i score in the low 3700s @ 435/1150.(1gig ram 760 with 100gig 5400) is there any way to run the lower rez without the full version?
It isn't my fault my system gets near 4100... The way I see it, I ran 3Dmark06 and that's the score I got, so the score everyone else gets should directly correlate regardless of the screen resolution.
ya thats what i was trying to say, still a killer score congrats
post #169 of 225
Ah :-)

Well I don't think you can mess with settings without the full version; I can't mess with the resolution at least, it gives me some message about how it owns my soul =P

And thx, I know a couple people have gotten higher scores than me using near the same setup, just they pinmodded a 1.7 instead of a 1.6...

Finally got this downloaded through file planet after I had 3 botched downloads from other sources. Damn chem is getting in the way of benchmarking , but HOLY CRAP what amazing graphics. I ran it at my everyday gaming settings which are quality, multisample AA, and 460/1220 clocks and got 4188. I'll try for 4500+ this weekend as well as some records in 05 if I get some time (and some cold air )

Anyone experiencing problems running this @ 1024x768x75Hz???

BTW I have a Zenith 50" Plasma. It starts running, does a few test, then I lose video, get "Invalid Format" on my Plasma. Have to do ALT + F4 to kill it.

TIA

1994 points.. is that above average for a 6800 go vanilla?
omg what is this?

*OHHHH* Mr. k6 also has the smaller screen or whatever! I was starting to wonder, how he got those huge scores... 4200 lol^^. [sl]ubertobias got a mere 4100 with his 2.8ghz dothan, at 1650 points on CPU, and ~1950 for both graphic card tests. He had his card oc'd way high too... 470/1300 i believe.
