Was running with antivirus/spyware in background. im stoked because yesterday my system only hit 2700 or so as the cpu was bottlenecked for some reason. nice improvement. will also try running on higher rez.

Could people please post their resolutions right next to their 3dmark06 scores from now on.

I know what your thinking Simply

yeah tanamoril, you prob posted just before i posted my next (corrected) results of 1280x1024 (right above your post) so no worries.

anyway, did it again at 460/1250 and it locked up, so set it back to 445/1250 and it went through without any artifacts and scored 3785 at 1280x1024 ( http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=95517 ), which im happy with. also, its running really cool as well. did a 2 hour cycle and max temp was 61 cpu/79 gpu which is way cooler than my 6800 ultra was.

with world of warcraft on full max settings for 4 hours gametime it only hit 66 (edit: 66 gpu)--im stoked because it used to cook my 6800.

CAN'T AGREE MORE
A 3DMARK SCORE IS MEANINGLESS WITHOUT RESOLUTION AND AA&AF SETTINGS
IMHO TWO RESOLUTION SETTINGS DESERVE TO BE TESTED:
THE DEFAULT SETTINGS (1280X1024) AND THE NATIVE RESOLUTION OF YOUR LAPTOP (1920X1200 IN MY CASE).

Over 4K at that res for a 7800 isn't impressive.

Does my 3DMark06 score seem right? I don't know what any of these scores mean.

3DMark Score: 3868
S2.0 Score: 1719
HDR/SM3.0 Score: 1738
CPU Score: 970

I'm using the limited version of 3DMark06 with a 7800gtx and 1.7 @ 2.26 cpu.

Seems right on the money, maybe even a little high . What clocks were you running on that card? Make sure you update your sig with your new parts .

Your overclocks are way too low, the safest and almost guaranteed stable clock is 370/770
