3D Mark 2K6 - Page 5

*NO* computer can get 19500 3dmark on 06... especially if two oc'd 7800 gtx get 9000. In the pic it says 3dmark006... FYI, looks like a fake .

I only reached 2896 3DMarks 2006 although I have over 7300 3D Mark 2005. The details follow:

Score: 2896
SM 2.0: 1581
GT1 - 12.8
GT2 - 13.5
HDR/SM3: 1569
HDR1 - 14.3
HDR2 - 17.1
CPU: 463
CPU1 - 0.146
CPU2 - 0.235

This is with XTreme 81.95 drivers at 440 core 1200 memory. Any ideas why the results are so unimpressive?

Thanks--Alex

Because its only the XGA.. Not the UXGA

Drizek, Penguin, Snooz,

Could you let us know the detailed results for all individual tests. I suspect that my low CPU score was due to the maximum battery setting so I'll rerun it later to see if it really affects the score.

Thanks, G/H, my CPU score is particularly low as I can see.

I installed the app, and when I started it and it was doing it's system analysis thing, my XPS rebooted. (I caught a glimpse of a bluescreen too.) I haven't been tempted to try again.

RAM tested out fine.

Damn.

Let me ask you guys this (and this is an honest question here): When I run 3DMark05, it says it's running at 1024x768. However, it fills my widescreen completely. It really doesn't appear to be "stretched," and it's not surrounded by vertical black bars on each side (for a 4:3 aspect ratio). So, is it running at 1024x768? Or some other widescreen aspect ratio? If it's not, aren't all these scores not comparable?

You overclocking anything like CPU?
It's probably running at 1024X768, because some of my stretched screens look pretty good and you get used to it after awhile too.

You're probably right. Maybe I'll try turning off the aspect ratio stretching option in the BIOS and see how it looks...if I'm motivated today.

You set in the Nvidia control panel too, just go to device settings>device adjustments and there are 3-4 different options to scale the screen resolution.

Its interesting that the CPU score is not linear with mHz.
1.73's give ~700-750
2.0 = ~900-950
2.4 Pin mod = ~1050

I will run my 1.6 soon and try to make a corrolation
