Chameleon paint job for 4780

Hi i was wondering if anyone has ever painted a 4780 with Chameleon paint before... I am willing to send my laptop to whomever can do this and pay for their time. Its sad that its not offered as an option to be painted.

So if anyone owes a paint shop or is a really good painter & has painted a laptop before, please give a shout. I want my laptop to stand out, and with Chameleon paint, it will!

Thanks for your time,
David

Well... theres a lot to take into consideration here... first off, the warranty. I have a feeling that as soon as you take the casing off that machine the warranty goes null and void... That being said, if you decide that thats a risk youre willing to take, remember that you'll have to have a nice safe place for the guts to sit while the casing is out being painted...

But, I have a feeling (dont take my word for this) that the paint they use is similar if not the same as the paint used at body shops (autos) for custom paintjobs... so maybe your best bet is to talk to/befriend someone who does custom paintjobs for cars...

someone correct me if I am completely off base here...

I was thinking fo doing something along those lines. I already have a paint sprayer and can get the paints easy, but I'm just worried about the warranty thing.

Only thing I need now is some old laptops cases made with the same plastic to try out some of the paints and see how they work. Only problem is paint thinner and plastic don't like to work well together sometimes.

4780 is a sweet looking mama without paint. Why bother?
