Fujitsu N5010, input requested

Thread Starter
I'm still in the decision mode. I've decided to go with a desktop replacement that allows a little mobility, but it's not necessary to travel around the world with it.

I've looked at HP 3010 and the Compaq nc6000. They spec out quite nicely but then I looked at the Fujitsu screen and was blown away. It literally is the best screen ever seen. I decided maybe going the Pentium 4 M way was sacrificing too much power and productivity. So if I go with a larger system this option did catch my eye.

The current mode specs out with as below.

http://webshop.fujitsupc.com/fpc/Eco...n.do?series=N5

• Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor at 3.0 GHz with 800 MHz Front Side Bus and Hyper Threading technology
• 16" Crystal View SXGA+ TFT display
• 512 MB DDR333 SDRAM memory
(256 MB x 2)
• 80 GB hard drive¹
• Built-in DVD-RW drive
• Built-in floppy disk drive
• Built-in Atheros wireless LAN (802.11 a+b/g), multinational² 56K³ V.90 modem and 10/100 Base-Tx Ethernet
• Four USB 2.0, IEEE 1394, S-video, MemoryStick/SD slot
It comes with the 64mb ATI 9600 card.

Although it's heavy, the price and system look great considering the $100 rebate, free shipping, and no tax.

What is the concensus on this new machine.????

Input requested and appreciated.

I was all set to order one for myself for Xmas, till I saw the return policy on Fujitsu's site. No returns on "custom" notebooks. Custom meaning any upgrade from the stock issue. That was that. Went with a Dell for better or worse.
