NC6000 has an underclocked non-pro version of Mobility Radeon 9600. It's pretty slow in '01. What's the problem?

If you read my posts above, you will find the problem.
If not, you are the problem.

Umm, the link you gave has nc6000 scoring 5801 in '01. It's even lower than your score. So, what's your point?

8700 is what they got it doesn't mean that much. Alot of it depends on how the laptop is setup, whats running in the background, just overall tweaking. Really for a 32mb 9600np with the OC 7200 isn't really anything to sneeze at. Without being able to actually play with the laptop I don't know exactly what it could score fully tweaked but I wouldn't be that disappointed. Also remeber that 01 is a ram hog if you went to 1gig it would help your score.

My nc6000 same config gets 7598 @ 309/226 so your score seems about right
