Using SPDIF w/Digital Coax to Digital Reciever

Hey, does anyone know exactly how to get the SPDIF out on Sagers (I have a new 5320) to hook up to digitial recievers? I have my 5320 hooked up to a mono splitter (1/8 male to 2 x female RCA) hooked to a digital coax hooked to the back of the RCA Digital reciever. When I do this, It wont actually create 5.1 sound, and will only output to 2 of the speakers. Thanks

you need to get a mini-tos adapter to the ful size toslink.

It depends on if it is an optical output or just digital

Clarification

Ok guys, its the SPDIF out from a Sager 5320, which is a coax digital.. definately not optical.

It needs some sort of adapter to link the digital coax cable (which looks like an RCA cable connector) to the SPDIF in which is on the back of the sager 5320.

i have had this same problem with my audigy 2 sound card which has a headphone jack (3.5") outputting a digital signal.
