Well first off let me say there is nothing wrong with my AW...

But my parents say if I don’t make it on the schools honor roll I will have it taken away for at least 6 weeks!!! It doesn’t look good for me!! d*Mn Spanish class!! The school honor roll requires that you need A's and B's I have like one or two C's nooo!!!

This is how I got my AW by making the honor roll and this is how it’s going to be taken away from me!! I don't know what I will do but I will try to get through somehow!! I will keep you posted but in a few weeks when the report cards come in and im not on you will know why! Its not forever you can kind of think as it as a long vacation. I only use my AW so that means I won’t even be able to get on the internet its like basically saying im grounded from internet/computer. So I am now going to say an early good bye to you guys. Thanks...

Yes very true school is defenitly worth it. I'm am a very smart kid but I'm very lazzy I manage to mostly get A's and B's with a C here and there without even studying. I think I am starting to mature because after this samester grades go back up to A's and im going to keep them that way. I am now realising that these grades are very important and im am now going to start to buckle down and study my a$$ off! I want to be one of the top of my class. I know I can!! So yea lol It sucks but my parents are doing it for my own good. I still have about two weeks tell report cards so im guna make the most out of it and use my computer a lot!!!

lol spelling has never been my strong point! I always say some of the smartest ppl are bad spellers

Listen, young man. I believe I saw in another thread where you have a final exam tomorrow. Get studying - since you are obviously a smart guy, maybe you can lift your grades enough to avoid the Alienware ban. Be creative - talk to your teachers now - tell them how sorry you are that you have been distracted. Ask for special credit, ask for a special project to do over now - show your parents, convince them you are serious, and GET THOSE GRADES UP!!!!

(you did ask for a parent's point of view...)

-Shazza The end of the samester is tomorow its too late for that plus I have tried lol. I have one shoot if I Ace my history and english finals tomorow I can hopefully bring one of those classise to an A! which would confinsate for the C's wish me luck but it still doesnt look good!!! I would of been fine because I have an A in gym so that would confinsate for my spanish but I have a c+ in math so now I need another A in another class to confinsate for that this is all while trying not to get any B-'s so darn complicated!!! errr....

When you were getting a C in Spanish, you had my sympathy. The bad spelling started losing it. After all, most good jobs require decent writing skills. But the C in Math put me squarely on your parents' side. Do you think you will be able to afford the lifestyle I'm sure you want without Math or spelling skills? Put away the damn games for two weeks and get an A in Math and a B in Spanish.
Your idea to play as many games as you can for two weeks is really dumb.

Speak for yourself Hammerhead, err, umm, I mean...I always sound like an old fogie.

I could lie and say I'm going back to school...One Of These Daze. My 11 year old is bringing home some serious math problems for me to help him with and I keep trying to teach him how to read a tape measure! Whats Up With That? He can spell and read English above his grade average (what I felt was important in the early years). Now math is what I hope he will excel in. Where we live Spanish or 'Mexican' should be a second language automatically.

Good Luck PC Gaming Freak! The Honor Roll is definetly something to strive for!

I agree...education is very important and it will open doors in life that you never thought existed...trust me on this, it will be worth all of the time and effort someday...it might not seem that way now, but be patient and take our word for this....good luck
