System Bus Speed/Battery Power

Is there anyway to prevent the system bus speed from dialing back when running these puppies on battery?

Since it's tied into the CPU which downclocks, the answer is no. It is designed to downclock the CPU and GPU to keep the battery from being over stressed and burning out in short order.
