What is up with Colors?

So I've been waiting 6 or so months to order a Sentia and every time I check I have the choice for Boring Grey or even more boring Grey. Whenever I talk to a CS Rep they are very elusive to say anything. All I'm wanting to know from them are they planning on bringing the colors back and then I would be happy to wait. Maybe an Alienware rep can chime in here and give us a strait answer if they are bringing colors back or not. If not just let me know so I can order a damn Grey laptop.

I know this has been discussed before and there has been some speculation that the begining of this year they are. However here it is almost Febuary and no signs of colors.

So please an Alienware rep let me know even if it's just a yeah colors are in the works.

I already own a 7700 the only positive thing to me getting boring grey is that it would match my boring grey 7700.

I just have the crappy feeling that whats going to happen is I will order the Grey laptop then a week after I get it there's gonna be shiny new colors and I will feel like I got the short end of the stick.

Thanks
Mike

Well I just finally bit the bullet today and got a grey m3200. I figure if colors come out I will just sell this one on Ebay since they are going for like $1100 on there and I just picked this one up for $769 after mail in rebates of $300. Sometimes people on ebay are so oblivious to what is going on outside of ebay. LOL

Still hope colors come soon.

GrAfix- just like you I have been waiting to order a sentia for 6 months. I had posted somewhere else the response I had received from AW CS saying that new colors 'where on the horizon' Although that doesn't tell you anything they did post the color survey on their lappy page so I'm still crossing my fingers. I'd buy a grey one if I could send it to smooth creations without voiding the warrenty (DB's hyper looks amazing)

It's so silly how secretive they are about it. If no colors are planned for 6 months just tell me don't beat around the bush about it ya know. If they would have just told me that 6 months ago I'd already have the laptop. I guess the only good thing is the m3200 has the better video card than I would have got 6 months ago.

I also just got the Celeron CPU cause I got an M 750 on ebay for $150 then I'll sell the Celly on ebay or something. It would have cost that almost just to go up to the next level. To get the 750 it was like $200 or $250 more. Just a tip when you order.

Hmmm just got to thinking I hope that won't void my warranty I better keep the celly around just in case anything happens I can slap it back in. LOL

GrAfiX FYI if you want to add ram or anything just call tech support and do it with them on the phone and it won't void the warrenty - that's as far as I have heard and was told when I asked to do the same.

Ya i agree with you about being secretive. I can see why they wouldn't want to say anything to save a sale or whatever but I'm already a customer and i'm still going to wait anyways hopefully it won't be too much longer
