sent Sager a toshiba 60 HD that sounded like sand in a blender (5 months old). before i sent in ran xp boot disk diag. and it took 3 hours and then wouldn't boot afterward. got an email saying drive is fine and makes no sound. WRONG! just because a drive 'powers up' doesn't mean anything.
sent an email back telling them to try and BOOT from HD then run a real disk diag. program. NOT impressed with their tech. clowns. even a toasted computer may power up doesn't mean they'll work.
they use the stupid approach.... i have the flu, i take aspirin, three days later flu is gone... conclusion aspirin cures flu.
