I put this in the desktop section first but since everyone here owns gateway I thought I'd give this a try too.

The DX300 can use the 7800gtx gpu but I have a major concern about this systems psu it is 305w at 9a on a 12v rail. Not very good plus it's running a dual core proccesor on that.
I need to know if the psu can be swapped out for maybe a 400w or 450w psu without any problems (plug and play)
I have no idea what it takes to switch out psu's in desktops and if that can cause any conflicts with other internal components.
