Acer Aspire 2026 and new WIRELESS CARD

Hi!

I have an Acer Aspire 2026.

I wanted to change my internal Intel 2200 minipci wireless card with an Atheros based card.

The Atheros card is installed, but it doesn't work because it is always disabled.

I tried to enable it, but it doesn't work.

Maybe there are problems with the Acer INVILINK technologie.

please help!


ps: The card works in a Travelmate 4001 without problems

Drivers?

Did you install the correct drivers for the new card?

not that it should really matter, but did you configure the internal one to be disabled?
