Fujitsu E4010 won't turn back on..

Hi everyone,

I own a fujistu E4010 and suddenly it won't turn on anymore... I was using it earlier today and turned it off before going out. Returning home i turned it back on but there is nothing on the screen and the fan keeps blowing out air. Does anyone have any ideas on what is the problem or provide any solutions? Thanks!

Exact same problem as yours. Now it is just lying there being next to useless to me.
Any luck on your side yet???

Hi,

did you got fixed your laptop?, i have same liflebook E4010D and i sent to seimens
services too and they offered to change all base unit :S , which is really expensive and they say they cant find same series motherboard , did you got any info whats wrong with laptop?`. i just came to know hard disk and motherbooard is shut, but its not sure.

I have the same problem with an A7600 series, anyone got any ideas? Or should i just accept that the laptop should be binned?

The guys @ Fujitsu wants $700 SGD (US$300) to change motherboard.
I junked it and got myself a used IBM R50 for $300 SGD (US$120).
Will not touch a Fujitsu again....made in Japan not equal to quality anymore

This is MB problem for switch on press left side under keyboard.
- for 1 month working fast the screw
one year ago I found foto with some home made metal backing on this place
which I recommend to press.
