Just look at the Throughput blowing away any other router and mine runs even faster. Must have been a firmware upgrade. Though I will say you must set up everything manually. The ppnp does not work for port forwarding, if you know what to do it just takes a few minutes. Had the same problem with a linksys, an firmware upgrade fixed that .Click on image to enlarge

I've recently set up a Belkin pre-N network of one laptop and two desktops and the connect speed is terrific. But, it is not perfect. You must be very careful to get the card in the desktop adapter right side up - to me the instructions are wrong and the set up for WEP is easy but I have been unable yet to get the Belkin version of WPA to work with other than the desktop connected to the router. But, it will come.

WPA was a bitch for me on the DI-624---but I was trying to connect with an OS in a foreign language, so it may have been a simple 'tick' I missed somewhere.

WEP will have to be good enough.

The only Linksys Routers you can do 3rd party firmware are the WRT54G/S series I do belive. Only reason for this is because Linksys made a mistake and used some software that was licensed GNU, so they was forced to release the source.

So if you happen to get one of these routers, you can turn an ordinary $70 router into a $400 router with just a quick firmware flash.
