Question about using it on an airplane

I'm going to e3 in May of this year and will hopefully be ordering an CX7 system soon. I know its a fairly large laptop 15X11.9X1'.9" high. Has anyone traveled via an airplane with one of these bad boys with ya. I know battery life isn''t great which is understandable I won't be using it much onboard if at all. Just wanted to know if the system in any way violates any restrictions of what can be carried onto an airplane

I haven't travelled on "in country flights" much, but during my trips from Europe, I had used my GX7 which is much larger than the CX7 and there was no problem - except for the constant oohs and aaahs..

One nice deal on my flights were that the aircrafts had the DC/AC converters that allowed me to plug up and provide power to the laptop. Worked like a champ. Again, not sure how flights are in country and whether this is possible in non-first class.

Good luck!

LOL. I just traveled from PDX to Orlando and back with my FX 7 in an Oakley (using an Oakley roll on for my peripherals). I had not problem (keep in mind I was in first class). If you fly Delta, you probably won't have the power option unless you are in business class on a large plane. I did not have power in my flight. My FX 7 did turn heads on the plane and in the airport.
