Hi iv got a toshiba m35x-s149 it seems to run pretty slow and hang up alot sometimes even for a few minutes. I am running AIM most of the time and occasionaly limewire. right nowim running AIM 3 internet explorer window's and gmail notifier. it says my memory load is 76% im guessing i need to upgrade my memory from the current 256. I think the 1.5ghz proccesor should be able to handle these applications so im assuming its the memory. I do run adaware and norton frequently so its not a virus or spyware. here is the memory im considering. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231042 if u have any suggestions please let me know. thanks

Hi yanmared,
I also have a M35X-S149. I just upgraded to a total of 1 GB ram. I also run a lot of applications at the same time, but not the same as what you run. At any rate, the speediness of my machine increased exponentially, when I installed more ram. The ram you posted a link for (DDR2), will NOT work in the M35X-S149. The ram you need is PC2700 DDR 333. This is what I installed:

I bought 2 of these sticks.
Good luck.
