Ok, i just did prime95, and did the torture test that tests large bits of RAM, and it failed at 30 minutes. My guess is that i've got bad RAM, my wc3 crashes a lot, because: "Memory could not be 'read'". I really don't care *that* much, but now that I've got SW Empire at War, it gets on my nerves a LOT... Thing is, my xps gen-2 was delivered on september 14th, 2005, with a 1-year warranty. Would they, at this stage, switch my RAM? (I will buy new RAM, 2gb 667mhz, if the board here manages to overclock the dothans).
My question is as follows: I Have to burn memtest to a CD, and boot from it, and it will automatically report errors, which will still be visible if im afk for two hours or so? My main question is: Memtest32 is a .zip, what do i burn on the CD? Thx,
€dit: I find it odd that my FEAR has never crashed... though i do get short laggs every now and then.
