Anybody replaced the cpu on 4005?

Hey,
I was wondering if anybody had pulled theirs apart to put in an MT chip or to put thermal paste on the proc? I'm tempted b/c an MT-37 is only $225 or so, but I was wondering how hard it would be.

Well I started to take mine apart. There are about a million little screws on the bottom. I found out that the back corner by the dvi output did not want to come up, but the rest seemed to pull apart nicely with not too much force. I think part of the problem is what to do with the dvi connector b/c it protrudes from the casing. Also, I might have missed a screw. There was one in the battery compartment after I removed the battery. I also did not take out either of the ones on the connecting bracket to the screen. At least it all went back together nicely, as it is now working. I'll be sure to let you know if I figure out any more/become a bit more intrepid or reckless.
