This is my first run through with 06 on my desktop. For the test I was only at 2.7Ghz instead of my usual 3.0Ghz, and my ram timings were a bit more relaxed that usual. I will put back my normal settings tomorrow and test it again if I can.

Here is a ss:

the core on the card is displayed wrong, its really oced to 570

and the processor is a p4 prescott 2.8 at 3.5 in this test.

Also, im on a 4 week old install of windows, and i run a clean computer, so i dont think its bloat.

you can try running msconfig, turn off all back ground processes, and make sure you all your spyware/virus scans turned off

also make sure everything is turned to performance

also update all your drivers
yeah, ive dont all that. I dont like crap bogging down my system. Even if that were the case, my 3dmark05 score would be lower. I think ill start by reinstalling 3dmark06?
