ok, i cant verify with orb because the registration code i put in wasnt good or some crap. however this was the only way for me to get the 1280x854 resolution to compete with others in my class. so heres a screenshot.

Hey guys Im new to 3d mark so I have a question. I ran 3d mark 06 and scored 3401 (no overclocking). I tried to run 05 and it gave an error... Said my system was updated to a version it could not use?? Thought I'd ask if you guys had any ideas..

I still need to OC the ram. I had it to 2.9 almost to 3 ghz but backed off for stablity (the stablity problems ended up being an overheating waterblock - some idiot did not take off the thermal pads from the stock heatsink before installing one of the blocks - doh).

Nice DB, I'll be trying to keep up once both my 7900GTX's get here. Seen a guy with the same setup as I will have getting 98??, and that was with no oc on the gpu's yet. Looks promising for me to keep up with you. Let the back and forth battles resume from your absence.

Oh how i miss my desktop. The guy I sold it to is in CA, and he is simply put, a moron. I am sorry, and do not want to be mean but he couldn't even figure out how to get the case door off. It is a Gigabyte 3D aurora case, and quite easy to get into.
He insisted that I ship it with the water still in it. This is because he would have no clue how to fill it up. UPS said they would insure it and keep it up straight to prevent any leaks.
It is just sad to know that my beloved system that I worked on for about 4 months tweaking is now being molested lol.
On a positive note, SC told me my notebook should be back this week!

Your system is just the best DB. In both ways. I saw that they put it up on their website. Congrats, and goodluck on tweaking it. You should be able to crush 3Dmark06 with that setup.
