I am trying to hold out as long as possible .... a month or so. I would like to see some more typical overclocking results from both before I decide, If I had to choose now, prolly the FX-62.

Later today after the family leaves I am going to boost her up a bit more and try for a new personal best ..... dayyum I want 8,000

This laptop is king! A little more heavy than the other 3 top laptops (9890, 9750, 1710), but it is king of the hill, chews through games and benches whilst being quiet, stable and in your face with 19" of screen blasting mayhem!

New processor in my desktop and a new score to go with it..

10404 3dmarks in 3Dmark06...

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=332200

desktop is a vapochill IIXE :

A8R32 MVP crossfire mobo
twin X1900s (stock speed and cooled)
FX60 @3.3ghz
2 gigs OCZ plat PC4000EB (only 235mhz, have not ironed out speed yet)
EDIT: added 50mhz over stock on the core to see how much it would affect the bench, also do not know if autoclocker in the driver will do both cards. I'll have to get a pair of utilities for both, probly 2 instances of ATItool.
I'm sure I could squeeze another 1k or 2k out of the machine with simple overclocking of the Crossfire setup. I just ran a fast stock benchie.

Wait, in order to publish a score, don't you actually need to "buy" the product? See my sig for my score ^_^ (it's XGA+ screen though)

OR - can I just take a screenshot?

You have to register an account with the free version (email, password) with futuremark. After that you can publish your scores, only one can be published at a time though. You also only get a limited amount of slots to save to with the free one. Hope that helps ya.

I am running a dell xps with Nvidia 7900 GTX, contender for the laptop leader board possibly. But I have to take my hat off to some of the plus 10k scores on here on desktops, fair play.

a question for the notebook gods

Okay gods you may or may not be, but just by reading through this thread I see you are well informed. So here is the question- Hypersonic Aviator MV6 or Cyberpower's Xplorer X5-7800. Its the same case but Cyberpower costs alot less. So what is the verdict? THANKS!!!
