Anyway I have been talking about my mac project so I am looking for a Powerbook G3 Wallstreet. Lombards and Pismo's interest me to but basically cheap is the word here.
Now for a Windows laptop must have a Direct x9 card and screen I pref to be 14". (If I am going to use this for the Wallstreet it needs to be non-widescreen). I am not closed mined on the screen though. I just am going to start working on the Wallstreet mods. (So far the dell 600m and 5100 are my first idea's for a fit but any input and others is always welcome)
Anyway here is what the laptop must have:
Direct X9 Video Card (Halo would be the biggest game along with Doom 3)
Pref 768MB Of ram or above
No HD needed a Small 20 gig or 10 gig would be nice I have a 60 for it
What I would like:
Either a 14" Screen or a screen above XGA Level
Windows XP Media Center With Serial (Disc would be nice to)
DVD Light Scrib (Wishful thinking
) but a DVDRW would be nice
Ok so I am open to most anything I am thinking around 700. I am somewhat flexable but basically I want to send another 100 elsewhere so both laptops under 700 would be nice.

Sager 3970-V PM 1.5 D, WUXGA, DVDRW (I think) 9700 128MB, no HD, Wireless, Webcam built in, In Phoenix (2 hours away) 800
Dell 6000 with ATI and WXGA, DVD/CDRW forgot HD for 760 Shipped
HP NC8000 - P-M 1.7GHz, 768MB Ram, Radeon 9600 64MB, 15" SXGA, 60GB, Warranty '07 625 Shipped no Heatware... only eBay.
