Differences between the 5720-C and 5720-V

This should be an easy one for some knowledgeable member out there: Can someone give me a quick summary of the difference(s) between the Sager 5720-C and 5720-V? I'm considering buying a 5720, but I want to understand what I'm getting and which I should prefer.

Thanks in advance.

Differences are listed there. However, it's just the way of referring to a particular build. There's no *real* difference between the 2- they're the same computer, just different specs.

If you pick the lower model and then upgrade some of the items (WSXGA to WUXGA, HD, RAM, etc.), you've all of a sudden made yourself the higher model. Nothing to worry about really.

As for which you should prefer, you should probably think about what you need your computer to do and how much you're willing to spend towards what you want it to do. Then read around for awhile. You'll be better off in the long run if you do some homework and don't rush into something just because it's got fancy lights and a can do the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.

I'm waiting for my 5720-C. All I did was upgrade the HD to 60gig and processor to the 760 (2ghz). Ram I'm buying somewhere else and kept the wsxga because I don't think i'll be gaming in wuxga with F.E.A.R. and Call of Duty 2. Saved some bux to!

That's what it looked like, but I wanted to make sure. I've actually played with the configuration options on that page, and it did look to me as though I could make one into the other; I was just hoping that someone could confirm that for me. Thanks for the info!
