I have a real problem

Ok well its not a real problem but I need some advice. My dad is a great guy and he's pretty much the coolest dad in the world but I just recently got my Alienware Laptop and didnt tell him that I ordered it (parents divorced and ordered at moms) (btw im 14) and he knows how much I like playing games on our computer so yesterday he called me and told me he had a big surprise for me. He came over to my moms house with a brand new Alienware Laptop Conspiracy Blue like way nice as a early birthday presnt. I pretty much freaked out but then after he left like 30 mins l8r it hit me. WTF am I gonna do with 2 stinking laptops? I worked up all summer to buy my new alienware laptop silver when my dad just went and bought one for me. and usually for my b-day he gives me like $200 best buy money. Wut should i do?

Return yours to Alienware. They have a 30 day return policy.

Yeah but doesnt that 30 day return policy start once you order your alienware not when you get it?

Uh, excuse me, did you think of going to the AW website to check or perhaps even just calling them or the reseller you bought it from? Pretty simple, virtually no effort whatsoever and fairly quick, heck, you could go to the website in stereo-vision!!!

What phase are you in gpoppa? just call alienware and tell them the real story, your dad bought you one as a surprise and you want to cancel your order and to refund you the purchase price.

It won't be a big deal..

AW doesn't use resellers.

I also remember when Best Buy sold Alienware computers. But, that was awhile ago and for some reason, they don't anymore.

It is a 30 day warranty from the day of delivery.

"Within 30 days of delivery, Alienware will, at its option: (1) provide replacement parts necessary to repair the product; (2) replace the product with a comparable product; or (3) refund the amount you paid for the product, less a 15% restocking fee, upon its return."

it sounds like he got his own order first, and then his dad just surprised him with another one. so both are opened.

Nah I think im just gonna give it away for free. So whoever wants it just tell me and ill ship to their doorstep still wrapped in the box right when i get it. God am I a nice guy.
