Hi, Im trying to fix a problem a freind of mine is having with a Samsung V25 laptop.
It seems to run perfectly on battery. With the power brick pluged in the computer will normaly get in to windows then it will jsut die and the screen will be blank with the fans still on. After this happens I tend to unplug the adaptor from the back fo the laptop. As soon as I do this the laptop starts up again screen shows the laptop posting etc. Then the split second i plug the adaptor in blank screen unplug it and it restarts normaly. If I then leve the adaptor for a a few mins and plug it in the computer will stay on running from adaptor for a few mins.
Infact I took it to a local repair shop to get the guy in the shops thoughts. Thing is as soon as i pluged in the adaptor the comp worked perfectly it ran for the entore time i was in the shop withought a hitch. (the laptop had been off the entire night b4 taking it to the shop in the morning)
I have jsut while typing this relised that If I plug the adaptor in the comp can at times get to the windows xp login screen and it will sit there but as soon as I touch the touch pad it dies but with fans on.
basic spec:
Samsung V25
2.4ghz pentium 4
512mb RAM
