New colors on Alienware systems!

Thread Starter
Hello all!

Please take a moment to give us some feedback on what colors you would like to see on Alienware notebook and desktop systems.

You can also share some ideas regarding shade, patterns and finish!

Thank you,

Cyborg Green Laptops !!!!

I'd like to see any choice for the notebooks. Go back to the Green/Silver/Blue option...maybe add Orange/Yellow/Red. I like metallic or Mica finishes

I like the stuff "Smooth Creations" does...that might be a worthwhile option for AW owners...or at very least, something of that similiar quality. It seems these more "colorful" appearances are becoming very popular, as is personalization with pictures or nick names...look at what Smooth did for DarthBeavis....just my 2 cents....

By this, I mean the option for the buyer to have Smooth do their color and personal stuff, but not have that effect our warranties, I guess that would mean an association for AW and Smooth....maybe there is another company like Smooth...just a thought

A little off topic but a window option from the factory would be nice too.

Alienware does a great job with cable management, its a shame nobody gets too see it.

I would like to see some of the desktop colors moved over to the laptops, i would love for my 7700 to be black or any other color that you offer for the desktops alredy. And for finishes matalic and a gloss would look nice.

I would like to see laptop's paint jobs that match the desk tops so if you buy a desktop and down the road you want to by a laptop you can get a matching one vs... vs... custom paint jobs would be cool too!

hey raul, since i got my 5500 in the only color avail, can we send our units back in-house to get painted? i dont want to void my warranty.

CYBORG GREEEEEEEN was the coolest color id ever seen on a lappy. The conspiracy blue was a very nice option as well, i just purchases the area 51m 5500 in the xeno grey and i would have much rather purchased in in the blue or green but unfortunately that wasn't an option for me.

I want my 5700 to be conspiracy blue. What I want to see is a program for existing owners to be able to send in their systems for a repaint at the owners expense.

I can send my laptop off to smooth creations, but I have warranty concerns about doing this.

And to follow up on that, I can understand the economics of offering only one color on a laptop as most people won't care, but if you look at every other botique (pctorque, hypersonic, voodoo, falcon) they offer different paint jobs for an additional cost. Some of them even offer custom graphics work.

In this circumstance, instead of stocking shells in multiple colors, you would tack on a week to the production time and send it off for paint.

glossy CYBORG green so I can order a sentia (or chameleon green to purple like before)

also Alienware-Raul - some of us have been waiting- any time frame for new colors?

The ability to change colors of the Alien eyes/head would be good to have. If anything, it would be great to have color options on the laptops - Cyborg Green would have been my choice.

Alienware, I am sure you guys have spoken with Smooth Creations about it before. Why don't you have them as an option? I don't care what colors you offer, a Smooth paintjob will still be better than anything you can offer without their assistance.

Now lets not be too critical, funny coming from me, aside from the micro scratches on the outside of my A51M, I've alwas been happy with the finish. Offering lappys with all of the desktop colors would be great; offering SC as an option would be Fn Great.

AW and SC together? I'd upgrade now!

I agree if possible adding a smooth creations option would be great. Not everybody would want a 600$ paint job but to have the option would rock.
Windows with laser eching would be a nice addition for the desktops as well.
If none of this is possible then notebooks with the desktop colors would be nice and maybe even a color shift model.

SC quoted me 300 to paint my 5700...
