damn its rattling like ....a ratlesnake
I don't want to have to send this in just to get this stupid speaker fixed...but it looks like I have no choice...

can't you replace that speaker yourself? i can't imagine it costing more then $10

its not the speaker thats broken, its the keys next to it. they rattle when it hits a high range. put your hands over the keys and try it again, i bet you it will go away for the most part. you cant expect to cram cinematic quality sound into a 1" package it does its best but the keys are going to rattle regardless.

that is weird. Mine never rattles. I can have it on full blast and I don't get any key shaking. I think the sound is unreal for a lappy. Best I have ever heard. Period. Maybe there is something wrong with yours?????

mess with the equalizer and i bet you can get them to rattle. it only happens at certain ranges, i can have it very loud on normal things but sometimes when a persons voice comes on the keys vibrate. dont get me wrong this is a great laptop speaker set... its just that speakers dont get along well with keys

yes, it rattles/squels most when you are hearing high pitched sounds like in a persons voice...

what can I do to stop this?

Best thing to stop it is to turn keep your volume low. :P

Theres nothing you can do for it, the range of the sound is gonna rattle the keys/plastic somewhat. Best thing to do is just keep your volume average and not boombox loud.
