guys I see you overclocked, can you play games on full res?
any if any of you have GTX, how is it compare to it?

Riva tuner allowed me to unlock 2 pipes.. now I'm going to benchmark on default o/c settings and let you all know..

Edit: Hmm.. I rebooted and they still show "disabled".. so I dono... then again, never used rivatuner, so I dono..

Can you post a picture of the setting where it lets you unlcok the pipes? Also, this is a guide that lets you unloick pipes on the 6800 and should work for the 7800 (if its possible to unlock pipes).

Thanks for the guide..

Bad news (maybe).. I can't soft-mod this card (or don't know what I'm doing)..

Steps are same as for the 6800 gforce.. the only (major) difference is where there is a tab for "Hardware Locked" on Riva Tune. On the 6800 it says "Yes/No", when I run it for this card, it says "N/A"..

Any way.. when I'm done, it doesn't seem to make it past reboot... When I go back to RivaTune, it shows 16x1,6, rather than 16x1,8 (or whatever) when they're properly enabled..

Maybe the pipes aren't there, but for the enabled ones "Hardware Locked" shows "N/A" as well..

I got the same Black Barney. Always defaulted back to the original 16/6

i wonder if someone could try popping in a gtx.... who knows. it might just work. the dell rep said it would.
