I do not know what could be worse? Having your notebook tampred with after you spend 2,600.00 dollars on. I bought the asus w2v off computerbrain and when I recieved it it did not turn on nothing no screen or any boot up to bios. I think somone tampred with my notebook as it came scratched and the box was opened. I contacted computerbrain and since i recieved the laptop on friday the box was opened and everything. I was scared Sh#4. Right now it is wednesday and still no replacement. I will be doing a chargeback if I do not recieve my notebook within 1 week. I receomend eveyone not doing bussniess with computerbrain or buy from a differet reseller. So far my experience has not been so good. But I will keep you updated everyday.

Why didn't you go with the reliable resellers that have been mentioned numerous times here in the forums? Go with ISTNC, Geared2Play, Discount Laptops, C9Tech... check the reseller ratings. Goodluck with getting that resolved though.

Good luck with the problem, although as led said, why didn't you go with a known reputable reseller? It's not like you got it any cheaper or anything.

You better have good credit though. Credit card companies aren't gonna give free money away for nothing (oxymoron anyone?).

Its up to you if you want to go with Geared2play but I would strongly suggest not to I wish I would have saved the e-mails that guy sent me some the stuff he said was so funny LOL. I sent the emails to friends and they all laughed there @$$s off. If you want to see them let me know and I will ask my friends if they still have them. The guy there turly showed how grown up he was ans how well he treats customers.

| ummm, looks like there is something fishy going on with asus resellers and asus. I am warning asus and computer if they are looking at this that they replace my laptop without any problems, or I can assure you that I will do a chargeback. |

Are you mad at him because he did not tell you what you wanted to hear?

No not at all. I dont want to be equated to a car sales man becuase i am nowhere near that. Thats a flat out lie. If he told people that we scrwed up his laptop or didnt provide the support we promise i would prolly email him my self and offer a bran new laptop. He is flat out lying and doesnt know what the heck he is talking about. The dude didnt even realize i was in this convo. Its one thing if he didnt like my approach. Its another to make false statement. I never twist anyones arms into buying anything. If you call me and ask questions about a certain products quality i will pose all alternatives. If you dont want to hear my expert advice then dont call me...Buy whaever you think is good and feel bad about it later. i hear things i dont want every day but i dont explode becuase most people are very level headed and realize i am there to help. When people call me out of nowhere and explode or start freaking out i am likely to either hang up or explain that i am not a machine and i dont have anyone above me to answer to. Treat me with respect and i will bestow the same on to you. Like this punk bashed me out of nowhere for no valid reason so i have to explain to him why he is an idiot and dont have his facts rite...I must have talked many dozens of people away from the z80k. To this day he is the only one that bashed me for it....Yes it was a best seller for a month or so until it was taken down from the site for obvious reasons. Bash me for not selling something to you that i feel was a bad buy. Go ahead see how smart it makes you look.

He just proved my point. Look at his grown up response to what I siad. I was only warning somone about the way he conduct business. Also Eddie many people say the whole e-mail convo and not a single person thinks you should even have your own business. Everyone I showed it too found it quite funny that you refused to sell me what I wanted and only wanted to offer me what I didn't.
