Hi there,

I have been searching the forums for days in hope that you can help with the following problem.

I also have a Clevo M570 based notebook but have the following problem:-

When playing a DVD while on battery power only,

I'm seeing two problems, playing using Windows media player you get a slight stutter every few seconds, playing using Roxio Cineplayer the sound and image is smooth and stutter free but the image flickers to black every second or so.

As i said the problem only occurs when on battery so interested to see if any of you have the same issue.

Hello me again.

Have any Sager 5720 owners encountered this problem?
I Was just trying to isolate what is causing it and i noticed the 5720 is virtually identical to my Rock XCT but that the DVD drives were different.

Can anyone also confirm that your FSB underclocks to around 84 when on battery?

Many thanks in advance.

indeed it does skip

Yup! Getting the same problem...that thing only likes cooperating plugged into an outlet...I get stutters on just about everything I do when I'm on battery power.

But I bought the laptop for gaming and plugging it in...so...I'm cool with that. I was expecting it to just suck when I ran on batteries...and...it does that really well. LOL.
