Packard Bell Laptops

Are packard bell good laptops or another cheapo brand???

I ve found a model with a radeon 9600 64 mb and i am thinking buying it...
Quality is my main concern though!

Packard Bell is a great company and used to produce very good computers but I haven't paid much attention to them for the last 4 or 5 years.

What model? Do you have a link?

I checked the PB web site, looks to be an OK machine, maybe a tad expersive for what it is. I guess PB is the non-USA arm of NEC now. NEC is one of the biggest electronics concerns in the world. Does that mean its good stuff, well, maybe, then again, maybe not.

See if you can find some reviews on the notebook (I only found one notebook model).
