Yes, sager is at fault for not supporting this issue, or changing solutions, but that does not mean that we should use illegal means to attempt and correct it. Doing what you just mentioned(if I am understanding you right, your post is pretty hard to understand) has got to be one of the most retarded suggestions I've ever heard when it comes to dealing with an issue from Sager. Thanks, but no thanks.

Edit: I know you said this is a "joke" but I don't understand the point in even posting if that is so.

Hey everyone,
After trying to deal with this problem myself for some time, I have found some drivers that seem to be working (for me at least)
you can get them here:
http://www.gemtek.com.tw/web_driver/...net_gemtek.zip
(if links like this are not allowed, or something like that, just let me know)

I know it is from GemTek, but it recognizes the Intersil Prism card correctly and everything, the driver version is 1.0.17.0 (so it might be a little older than the one some of you are using)
I have had a stabe connection in my 5780 for quite a while (no connection dros or anything)

One problem I do have, is that if I move onto a hotspot on campus or at a friend's house I "connect" but I cannot recieve. At a friend's hosue I noticed that if I restart the router itself everything works perfectly, but on campus this is not an option so I am pretty much out of luck.

Well, I guess this is a use at your own risk, I am no expert or anything, so take my advice with a grain of salt. All I can say is that it seems to be working for me (for the most part)

Let me know if you try it out.

I know it's a long shot but, maybe windows built in wifi management stuff isn't to good. Try this:

Like I said, it's a long shot.
