but they won't let me use the $750 off cupon. can someone help, maybe refer me to a good rep at dell?

Umm... You do realize that you are getting more than $750 off with the 25% discount, right?!? I'm pretty sure if you use a coupon, that it will replace any other discount you get. Stick with the 25% off.

Hey Mr. B... how are you liking the 5400HD? I ordered the same and was wondering if you notice much of a speed difference?

I'm loving it. Can't say that I really notice a big difference in HD performance, but that is kind of hard to single out. The laptop is a rocket though!! Everything loads fast, and multitasking is a true pleasure. You’ll be happy with it.

i think he is trying to stack the coupos which u can't due, u can't use the 750 off if u use the 25% off

The Fujitsu disks are ok, but in a such a nice and fast notebook, the only thing which slows the system down is the harddisk!

And the slow mainstream 5.400 PATA/SATA models MHU XXX and MHV XXX are in every benchmark the slowest you can get.

True 5400RPM will be a bit of a bottleneck, but with 2GB of 667Mhz memory I doubt the harddrive will be accessed all that much.
