Ages back I posted about an issue I had with the F4005 blue screening on battery boot, all was fine on powered boot. After doing all the usual, recovery build, new drivers (as it seemed to blame the ATI drivers for the problem). I decided to contact ACER support.
Well after reporting the issue to ACER Europe on 23rd July 2005 and a load od emails and eventually telephone calls the case got escalated (this is now 20th December 2005), the machine was collected on the 22nd December 2005.
I finnally got the machine back yesterday 26th January 2006, all fine now. Main board was toast, had been since I recieved it, and it took them 6 months to get it rectified, great speed there, but I am now happy with the machine, which is important.
