Lego Laptop Stand

Yes, you heard right!
I made a Lego laptop stand!
It holds up really nice, no flex, and lifts the laptop up to a perfect height for seeing the monitor, as well as puts a nice tilt on the keyboard.
The colors aren't really what I would want, as I was to lazy to search for the perfect colors anyways.

Here's a pic of the temps after 600 something seconds of ATT and Prime95:

Thats actualy not much cooler than normal, but its perpose is to lift the computer up for better visibility anways.

What's next?
Change the colors?
Fans powered by super loud Lego motors that won't really do anything other than make noise and seem cool?
Instructions made with MLCad and PovRay?

I forgot to mention that this is like the second or third version I've tried. First had to much play/flex and was to short, second on had way to much flex because the weight on the back wasn't dirrectly over the bottom leg, yet this one is pretty much perfect, but my little "DON'T FALL OFF THE STAND!" holders are starting to bug me, as they are just long enough to poke my wrists.

Made a small change, so it doesn't poke my wrists anymore.

Now for an hour of the lamest fun game ever: Lego Drome Racers

Hehe, that's awesome! Very good idea. If I had any lego's around I would build something like that too!

Awesome. Maybe you'll want to patent your design, sell it to LEGO & who knows??? It could well be a great new source of revenue for you & LEGO!!!!

Now there is an idea! Though, I don't think Lego would pay much attention, and anyone who bought it would get extremely ripped off because it doesn't really do much other than lift it up. If someone really needed a good cooling solution, they would get a stand with fans, but this works just fine for me!

You are quite right but you may be surprised what they will do if they buy your idea. They could just get their design department to do a research & development & come up with an improvised solution... who knows how good & professional that new design might turn out to be... It might just turn out to be a great new market for them!!!

Yes! Lego laptop stands for all!

So I tried hooking up some motors to spin some fans...the normal ones you can't even feel a breeze, and on the ones for Lego RC cars...just too loud.

Thanks!

So I tried to see if I could make some type of a holster for my iPod Shuffle and Kingston flash drive...I gave up cause it seemed pretty useless, but may start agian. I need to download MLCad so I can make some instructions for it, as well as render some cool pics of it in PovRay.
