Geforce fx go 6600 driver for Satellite M40 ?

Hello there i would like to say how greatfull i am that there is a site like this one out there that has plenty of support and goodies

now coming to my problem i own a Toshiba satellite m40A with a nvidia Geforce fx go 6600 gr card recently i just got back from over seas and left behind my driver cds and al my apps anyway i managed to download most of the drivers from the support site but here it becomes triky some how i cant find the driver for the graph card anyware not even on the nvidia website wich is preety sad lacking of support anyhow if there is anyone out there who could help me out on this issue on were to obtain the drivers i will be great full

nvidia doesn't release official drivers for the Go 6600 on their website. Instead, nvidia drivers for each notebook model are released by notebook manufacturers. In other words, you can get a driver for your video on the Toshiba website. The only problem with this is that Toshiba doesn't often update their video drivers, and so the one available on their website is likely to be an old version.

Alternatively, you can check out http://www.laptopvideo2go.com or http://www.tweaksrus.com and download some newer (but unofficial) drivers. Some of these drivers have a few bugs in them, but for the most part they offer superior performance to the older official drivers on the Toshiba website. There are a few threads in this forum that will explain how to install these drivers properly (just run a search for "nvidia drivers" or something like that).
