yes. I know how free spyware stuff retards your computer, just several days ago, I tried to get rid of the virus that came out on the 3rd, and my entire system just collapsed I am really POed because I have an essay thats overdue and my only saved copy is on that computer. Right now I am trying to pull it out of the hard drive but it wont budge. so I bought a new hard drive (because my old one has been destroyed), installed a new operating system, and finally pulled my oldest computer out of my garage and am using that one now (it too has many bugs in it). so basically it wasn't the virus that got my '01 Presario, it was the free "antivirus software" that doesn't do crap (damn AVG trash)

At first everybody was so fast in answering my questions...what happened? sorry its hard keeping up in the forums with all these new threads, nobody will read and respond to what I say. I just feel left out.

who else thinks I should go with Norton? and I will probably ordering this in April or May or June, does anyone know if AW will come out with anything new? what about other companies?
