I nearly fell off my chair when i saw your post, i have a travelmate 2201LC here with exactly the same problem. Hold windows key + B then power on, yeah i thought thats got to be the answer....
....so off i go skipping to te spare room to excavate said laptop from the pile of junk and proceeded to power it up. Guess what, it didn't work, lol
where did you find this info, I am praying that, being a diferent model there will be a different combination of keys
well it's got to be worth asking, lol
thanks in advance
if you really fancy a giggle at my misfortunes (and how NOT to do it) have a look at http://www.notebookforums.com/showthread.php?t=123874
the final straw was that the origional tablet problem was probably NOT a problem at all, it was more likely just turned off by the Fn + F7 combination, which toggles the tablet ON or OFF
Funny thing is... i know FAR FAR more now about ACER's (quite literally fron the inside out..... how many screws, lmao) than i ever did whilst the lappy was working (with thanks to this forum) ..... i would even consider buying one now which is something i would NEVER have done before.. thx guys
