Internal Frequency Issues with X2 4800+

I am on my second 9750-V (first had a short in the RAID array), and this one also continues to report that the internal frequency of both cores is 1GHz. As my 3DMark05 scores are sup-par (<5k), I am curious if others have this reading?

I can handle the hassles of convincing the wireless to work, and the camera to work, but with no way to tell the CPU to run at full speed I am at a loss.

Help?

Thanks much for the fast reply...this was really irritating me.

You could have just used the "Always On" power management, this will bring the cpu to full speed. you temps will rise to around 51C and 55C, no biggie.

huh ? that is weird...would bring this up with Sager Tech Support. I can switch the cores from 1.00Ghz to 2.4Ghz using the Power modes. No external programs needed.

I would expect that you should be able to do the same as well.

can someone tell me how to use rmclock to bring the chip speeds up to 2.4ghz. mine are also at 1gh. i used a program called CBid and it changed it but its completely unstable, always get errors with that program. 1ghz versus 2.4 is the difference between a twin turbo porche and a geo metro. unbelievable. why did sager send these with them set at 1ghz. my power modes don't do anything either.

my dvd's play like completel crap on this machine, and i tried to upgrade to Nvidia forceway 81.94 drivers, and it tells me upon installation it can not find a video card to update. haha
