Hello, I just recieved a new Inspiron 6000 notebook yesterday. I cannot get on the internet, I just get a white screen in the web browser. It states connected if you look at the network connection, but according to Comcast (internet provider) the computer cannot recieve or send pings. I spent 2 hours on the phone with them and I believe they are not the problem. My wife's computer is able to connect without issue. I have also spent 2.5 hours on the phone with Dell uninstalling and reinstalling stuff, and they refer me back to comcast. The comcast rep states it is a software issue and I feel he is accurate. In addtion, when you click on the internet tools option from the browser, the window will not pop up?? I'm a novice when it comes to computers. Do any of you know what the problem might be and possible solutions?? I would be eternally greatful for any ideas. This has been the most dissapointing purchase of my life
