My trusty 5660 won't boot up! The DJ will play songs from the CD but it won't load up windows!

I thought maybe the screen was dead but I hooked up an external monitor and then it came on. When it got to the windows part, it went all blue and black. What do I do?

I think i backed up my files, how do I do a system reformat? Maybe it's a virus?
